Vagha Khachar, ruler of Sarangpur met Shree Gopalanand Swami at Botad and requestes for help as from three years; there was drought in Sarangpur region. Swami Shree understood the feeling of Vagha Khachar and told that Kashtbhanjan dev Shree Hanumaji should be installed here in Sarangpur to remove all the hurdles. Then idol of Shree Hanumanji was installed by Sadguru Gopalanand Swami on fifth day of Krishna Paksha of Ashwini month in Vikram Samvat 1905. The idol of this temple is believed to be so commanding that a mere look at it can remove the evil spirit in affected person
